ZhenHua Hope School Inauguration Ceremony Held in Baghdad, Iraq, Draws Widespread Attention

On September 3, the inauguration ceremony of the ZhenHua Hope School was held in Baghdad, Iraq. Mr.Basim Mohammed, Iraqi Deputy Oil Minister for Upstream Affairs, along with representatives from the Baghdad Governorate, the Midland Oil Company, ZhenHua Oil, and other parties, attended the event.

The ZhenHua Hope School is a project listed on the outcome list for "Promoting People-to-People Connectivity" at the 3rd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. It is also a model social contribution project in Baghdad, Iraq. The school's design includes 18 classrooms, a multipurpose hall, a library, an office building, laboratories, a small football field, parking lots, and supporting facilities such as drainage system, power supply, and landscaping. The school is equipped with advanced teaching equipment like electronic displays and computers, catering to up to 800 students.

In his speech, Mr.Basim Mohammed extended warm congratulations on the inauguration of the ZhenHua Hope School and highly commended the efforts of the Midland Oil Company and ZhenHua Oil in improving community infrastructure around the oilfields, especially their social contributions to enhancing educational resources through the construction of schools.

The inauguration ceremony also attracted widespread attention from various sectors of Iraqi society, with local mainstream media outlets such as the Iraqi News Channel providing extensive coverage.
