ZhenHua Oil Research Institute of Exploration and Development Receives Excellent Case Award at the 2023 China Oil and Gas Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference

From August 3rd to 4th, representatives from the digital intelligence engineering research and development team of the Research Institute of Exploration and Development attended the 2023 China Oil and Gas Artificial Intelligence Technology Conference. They participated in the Excellent Case Award ceremony and exchanged with experts and scholars at the conference to learn about the latest breakthroughs and successful practices in the application of artificial intelligence technology in the oil and gas industry.

The conference brought together renowned experts and scholars in the field of digital intelligence from entities such as China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), Alibaba Group, and PipeChina, to jointly discuss the current situation and development trends of artificial intelligence in the oil and gas industry. Five academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering provided an in-depth analysis of the cutting-edge knowledge in this field, presenting an excellent academic feast for the participants.

The Research Institute of Exploration and Development actively responds to the company's digital intelligence strategy, promotes external exchanges, and learns from advanced experiences at home and abroad. It continuously innovates digital intelligence technology to provide strong support for production and technological innovation. The independently developed "Intelligent Analysis and Management Platform for Oil and Gas Well Production Dynamics" by the Research Institute was awarded the "Excellent Case in China Oil and Gas Artificial Intelligence for 2023" at the conference. This platform is production-oriented and addresses practical production issues in the East Baghdad Oilfield. It integrates reservoir engineering theory with machine learning technology and has developed and integrated numerous digital intelligence algorithms to solve practical oilfield problems. In the future, this platform will further integrate and expand its functionality, collaborate with the oil and gas field IoT, achieve real-time analysis and optimization of oil and gas well production dynamics, and support the construction and development of digitally intelligent oilfields.
