|
ZhenHua Oil acquired two petroleum exploration licenses
in Pakistan over Baska and Bahawalpur East blocks on 29 March 2007.
Baska block is located in the central part of Pakistan and covers
an area of 2,442 sq.kms. There is oil and gas discovery in one of
the six identified prospects. The well tested 457,600m3/d of gas
and 709b/d of condensate.
Bahawalpur East block is located in eastern Pakistan and covers
an area of 2,495 sq. kms. Five leads have been identified within
this block.
A minimum expenditure of about $30 million will be invested in the
two blocks during three years of the 1st exploration period.

The Gbeibe Oil Field locates in the northeastern
Syria's Gibisa District with remaining reserves of 64 million barrels.
The current production is 12,000 barrels per day. |
